Have you ever heard somebody talk about their job, saying "it's what I've wanted to do since I was a kid"? I've always heard this about doctors, nurses and lawyers, but never thought it could apply to me. Growing up, the only things I had a big interest in were fashion and art - two fields that wouldn't get me a 'real job', but I didn't care. I wanted to pursue whatever I was passionate in, so I started researching different majors and career paths in those fields, eventually stumbling across the Textiles Marketing program at URI, which really caught my interest. I love talking to people and collaborating with others, so this program perfectly combined that with my love for fashion.
